System Information

After completing the installation, you'll need to configure your system information to customize your Mentor LMS platform.

Accessing System Settings

  1. Log in to your admin dashboard
  2. Navigate to Settings in the sidebar menu
  3. Select System Settings from the dropdown options

Available Configuration Options

The System Information section allows you to configure the following settings:

General Information

  • Site Title: The name of your LMS platform that appears in the browser title and various parts of the application
  • Site Description: A brief description of your platform for SEO purposes
  • Site Keywords: Keywords to help improve search engine visibility
  • Site Logo: Your brand logo that appears in the header (recommended size: 180px × 50px)
  • Site Favicon: The small icon displayed in browser tabs (recommended size: 32px × 32px)
  • Footer Logo: Logo displayed in the footer section (recommended size: 180px × 50px)

Contact Information

  • Contact Email: Primary email for user inquiries
  • Contact Phone: Phone number for direct contact
  • Contact Address: Physical address for your organization (displayed in footer)
  • Facebook URL: Link to your Facebook page
  • Twitter URL: Link to your Twitter/X profile
  • Instagram URL: Link to your Instagram profile
  • LinkedIn URL: Link to your LinkedIn page
  • YouTube URL: Link to your YouTube channel

SEO Settings

  • Meta Title Format: Format for page titles across the site
  • Meta Description: Default description for pages without specific descriptions
  • Open Graph Image: Default image used when sharing links to your site

How to Update System Information

  1. Fill in the relevant fields with your platform information
  2. Upload your logo and favicon images by clicking the upload buttons
  3. Ensure all URLs include the full address (e.g., https://facebook.com/youraccount)
  4. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the form

Best Practices

  • Logo Size: Optimize your logo for web display (PNG or SVG format recommended)
  • Contact Information: Ensure your contact email is monitored regularly
  • SEO Fields: Include relevant keywords in your site title and description
  • Social Media: Only include social media platforms you actively maintain
